Following the Vault of Glass raid which had gone live on Tuesday, Bungie has detailed Combined Arms and The Queen's Wrath for Destiny, today. These two events had previously been teased by the studio and today, Combined Arms has been made available.

Combined Arms is a purely vehicular combat mode in the Crucibles PVP (player vs. player) arena. Vehicles' are rare in most PVP maps, but this event is all about riding around in Pikes, and driving huge, hulking, rocket-firing inceptors. Battling in Combined Arms gives you the usual Crucible Gear, Crucible Mark, and Crucible Reputation rewards. Starting from today, the event will continue until Sunday, September 21.

Alongside the availability of Combined Arms, Bungie has also revealed a few more details on the next event, called "The Queens Wrath". Rewards in this event are Unique Legendary Gear or Unique Rare Gear for" Guardians who extinguish enemies of the Reef". There will be more bounties, along with more challenging mission modes. This event will run from September 23rd to October 6th.

A couple more events have also been teased, namely Salvage in September, and Iron Banner in October.

There should always be something new to experience every time you play Destiny,” says Bungie “To give you new reasons to bring the fight to our enemies - and to each other - we've loaded our cannons with some more special events. Some of them will recur regularly. Others will happen when you least expect them."
