Destiny has topped the charts for the second successive week in the UK

Destiny, a first person shooter video game developed by Bungie and published by Activison, is still numero uno on UK Charts for the second consecutive week , excluding the digital sales.

There were reports emerging that sales of the game fell by 78 percent, but it still managed to shift enough copies to secure the top spot ahead of Disney Interactive studio’s Disney Infinity 2.0. Thanks to Destiny, last week over 72 percent of the PS4 sales were the game’s official bundle. Interestingly, Destiny was the biggest PS4 game launch ever.

According to reports, The Wii-U release of Hyrule Warriors made the top 10 of this week, securing third position, with Ubisoft’s Watch-Dogs pushed down to the fourth position and the Electronic Arts’s ‘The Sims 4’ moved to fifth position. Call of Duty: Ghosts and Last of Us: Remastered both fell down to seventh and ninth position respectively, with Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition hoding it’s position in the sixth place.

This week’s UK Chart as follows:

  1. Destiny
  2. Disney Infinity 2.0
  3. Hyrule Warriors
  4. Watch dogs
  5. The Sims 4
  6. Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition
