Final Fantasy XV looks fascinating

Square Enix has shared some fresh new footage from Final Fantasy XV at the Paris Games Week. The game looks fascinating to say the least and is way above its predecessors. The gameplay video released shows the open-world nature of the game and it seems really huge and epic. The level designs from Final Fantasy XIII were disliked by many as they were narrow and much like what a FPS stage would play like. However, Final Fantasy XV seems set to change perceptions.

The game seems highly advanced and full of realism in ways more than one. When you see a field, you are free to explore it. Noctis and his party also react like real humans do as well. Party members can get tired if they’re running for too long and will stop and rest if they have too. While driving the car, you can also rest and get more gas too. All this and much more is on the cards as the gamers prepare for the demo of the game to be released in March 2015 along with Final Fantasy Type-0 HD.

The 10-minute long stream from Final Fantasy XV is in Japanese, but you will see a lot of cool things. The world truly is very large and you can see animals and creatures roaming around the fields. If you approach creatures, you will have to fight them but you can run away if you want. You will also see Noctis and friends just running around exploring the very large levels. There is a day and night system built into the game engine as well. Enemy creatures increase at night time so its best to get rested during the day.

From the looks of things, Final Fantasy XV is a true open-world experience and seems set to take the gaming world by storm. We still await the official release date and this video seems to have made the wait even more difficult.
