Games have been part of our lives since the 70s and 80s, even before computers and consoles became a thing, and most of the credit goes to classics such as these.
Here are the five best-selling games of all time:
Tetris is one of those games that have been played by almost every living soul in this world. Developed by Russian programmer Alexy Pajitnov, Tetris was released on June 6, 1984, and still continues to be one of the most played games in the world.
Tetris has sold over 170 million copies, and has been ported into 65 different platforms.
Wii Sports aka Wii ???? was released in 2006, and saw success that very few games had seen. It has sold a total of 82.54 million copies worldwide as of 2014. By 2007, it was already the best selling Wii game.

A famous quote from South Park where a character called Randy Marsh has to play the game so that he could unlock his parental lock password so as to watch some channels that he is not supposed to watch. Why? Because, all the kids were playing Minecraft. Literally everyone.
Developed by Swedish company Mojang, Minecraft has sold over 54 million copies, and has 100 million registered users.
Super Mario Bros
Released on 1985, Super Mario Bros was developed by Nintendo, and went on to be one of the most iconic and popular games of all time.
The whole series is said to have sold40.24 million copies as of 2013, excluding the Game Boy Advance and Virtual Console series, making it the third best-selling game of all time.
Mario Kart Wii
