Microsoft has announced that that Halo 2: Anniversary Original Soundtrack will be released on CD, and as promised it was released yesterday.
Halo : The Master Chief Colledtion releases today for Xbox One, which is nonetheless a retooling of the core Halo games. The collection includes the Halo 2 Anniversary, which is possibly the most decorated game in the collection. With remodelled maps, improved gameplay and numerous other additions, the game seems to be enthralling and is the only one releasing with a ranked playlist from the start.
The soundtrack for the game has been created by Martin O'Donnell and Michael Salvatori. It was re-recorded by 343 Industries senior audio director Paul Lipson, accompanied by Lennie Moore, Tom Salta, Brian Trifton and Brian Lee White along with Skywalker Sound. It is set for a release with the full game for fans to own and enjoy.
The Halo 2: Anniversary Original Soundtrack can be sampled and ordered through the Apple iTunes Store.
