After the end of a very thrilling NBA season, which saw the San Antonio Spurs emerge as champions, already the excitement and anticipation for the latest game in the NBA 2K series is beyond control. The NBA most Valuable Player of the season, Kuvin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunders is on the latest cover of the game NBA 2K15.The promise for this time’s NBA 2K game is “Unprecedented life-like graphics, ultra-realistic NBA gameplay, and more." which the NBA 2K said themselves in collaboration with Visual Concepts.
The gameplay trailer dubbed as ‘The Most Valuable Players’ presented the E3 event in which Durant gave his much lauded acceptance speech for the Most Valuable Player. As a bonus, many other high-profile most valuable NBA 2K community members are also there in the trailer. The game has adopted the tagline ‘Your time has come’.
Confirmed voice-acting players in the latest version are Al Jefferson, Andre Dummond, Trey Burke, Andre Iguodala, Al Horford, Gerald Wallace, Thaddeus Young, Brook Lopez, Channing Fry, Brandon Knight and 2K15's cover-player, Kevin Durant.
If Gameranx are to be believed, International MyTEAM cards are sneaking their way into the NBA 2K15 and will be available for purchase in regions outside the US borders such as France, Germany, Italy and Australia.It’s highly likely that the cards will feature legends Michael Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain, and maybe future hall of famer-Vince Carter.While the players who are confirmed for the International MyTEAM cards are Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili, Dirk Nowitzki, Ricky Rubio, Dante Exum, Marco Belinelli and Jeremy Lin.
NBA 2K15's release date has been scheduled for October 7 on the following platforms: PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
