PS3 users are facing a Fatal Error on Far Cry 4

Ubisoft has been facing a lot of criticism recently after Assassins Creed: Unity was noted for having too many bugs and glitches. And looks like it can add its latest release, Far Cry 4, to the list. Some gamers who have purchased the PS3 version of the game have reported experiencing a “Fatal Error” that has rendered the game unplayable.

The bug only seems to be exclusive to the PS3 version of the game with many players reporting that the game does not work for them and they are instead met with a “Fatal Error” screen. Ubisoft has taken note of the issue and has even set up a forum in the hopes to fix it. They have stated that one of the possible reasons for the bug could be the saved data from Far Cry 3, but many gamers who do not own Far Cry 3 are still reporting the error. If you are one of those players facing this issue then is best to inform Ubisoft about it. They would also like to know which country you’re from to figure out if it’s a regional problem.

Players are speculating that it may have been Far Cry 4’s recent 1.01 update that caused the corruption, as people who have not downloaded the patch have commented on the Ubisoft forums that their game is running just fine. Hopefully Ubisoft gets to the bottom of this problem so that gamers can get back to exploring the lands of Kyrat.
