PS4 system update 2.0 is expected to be released in time for Big game releases

PS4 new system update 2.0 to be released soon.

Sony have finally revealed the features about the much awaited system update 2.0 for PS4 in their PlayStation blog. However the release date of the update is still under the wraps and will be announced soon.

Scott McCarthy, Director of Product Planning & Software Innovation at SCEA posted the update yesterday and replied to many fans comments. But according to this comment from McCarthy, the update will be released sooner as the players will like to play the big games with the new system update. He said,

“We have not yet announced a date. That said we don’t want you guys playing some of the biggest games of the year without the biggest update of the year.”

The system update 2.0 codenamed Masamune, adds big features like Share Play, YouTube support, Themes, Music players among other things and the list still grows on. McCarthy replied to a fan named Frozone about the list, saying,

Thanks Frozone – keep in mind this is revealing a bit more about the update but it is not the full list yet – more to come!

This big update may be released within a month as we expect many big game releases like Assassins Creed Unity, Call of Duty:Advanced Warfare, Little Big Planet 3 and many more. This holiday season will surely be a treat for all gamers.
