Styx: Master of Shadows is an upcoming stealth-based video game developed by Cyanide Studios. The game is set to be released in PS4, Xbox One and PC. The release date of the game is officially set to October 7th,2014 and the price is €29.99/£24.99.
Styx, the very first of goblins, fragile but resourceful, wants to steal the heart of a World-Tree present inside the huge and terrifying Tower of Akenash. Humans and Elves live inside the tower and protect the Tree which is the source of Amber.
Styx has magical abilities that assist him in his missions, including the ability to make himself invisible for a certain period of time and the ability to use amber vision to identify enemies and detect hidden areas inside the tower.
This is your typical stealth based game where the players keep to the shadows to survive inside the tower and try to lure the guards out to a secluded area to kill him, or make “accidents” to remain undetected on their course. This game also has mechanics of RPG games, where the players can gain experience and unlock new skills, special moves, and lethal weapons in six talent trees.
