The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is an upcoming action role-playing video game set in an open world environment, that is currently in development by Polish video game developer CD Projekt RED. Recently announced, the game will be receiving sixteen DLC packages, free of charge across all platforms. On asking Marcin Iwi?ski, CEO of Witcher 3 developer CD Projekt RED, about the reason for releasing so many DLC packages for free across every platform, he replied that “DLC is a small content, like a one-thousandth of the whole game. Why should you charge for that? If it’s small, give it for free. I know it’s not always possible or easy but this is what we want to give gamers; a little bit of love, which we’d like to get from other developers as gamers ourselves."

Iwi?ski also says that this is a way of saying thank you to the peole who bought the game. For avalingthe DLC package, All you have to do is buy the game. You need not pre order it or buy any premium package. If you own the game, all the 16 DLCs are yours regardless the platform. On February 25, the players will be able to download the first two DLCs, the 'Temerian Armour Set', which includes horse armour, and a 'Beard and Hairstyle Set' for Geralt. After thi, the DLCs will be released by the developers at specific dates and the players can enjoy them just by downnloading them.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is out February 24, 2015 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
