Nearly three months since the release of Hyrule Warriors, Nintendo and Eiji Anouma have announced a second DLC pack for the game. The pack titled ‘The Twilight Princess’ will be coming to Hyrule Warriors next week. Nintendo and Tecmo Koie had announced earlier that the game would be receiving four DLC’s over the coming months, one of which, the “Master Quest” bundle, was released on October 2014. DLC’s are something very new to Nintendo and they already seem to be doing a good job at it with their Master Quest Bundle and the free villain DLC pack. This way they have ensured that Hyrule Warriors remains fresh and entertaining for players.
Anouma has gone into a few details of what the DLC pack has to offer on his latest post to the official Miiverse page, one of which is a brand new playable character. The character Midna from the Twilight Princess will appear in this DLC pack in her Twili form. Midna does appear in Hyrule Warriors but in her cursed form so now players will be able to play Midna in the form she appears in towards the end of Twilight Princess. Anouma stated that “it was a waste” that Midna only appears towards the end of the game and he is happy that players will be able to see more of her once this DLC is released. She will use the Mirror of Twilight as a weapon during combat.

“The Twilight Princess Pack includes new weapons, costumes and an adventure map, so if you played through the original game, they should contribute to the fun you’ll have in Hyrule Warriors. (For one of the costumes, you can dress Link up as a certain familiar character from the Zelda series. It may make you say “”Wow!”” so I hope you’ll look forward to it.)”
According to his statement the pack will also include new weapons, costumes as well as an adventure map. And Link will also have a new costume. He has not really gone into the details but that will all be revealed as we get closer to the DLC’s release date.
The Twilight Princess DLC pack for Hyrule warriors will be available on November 27.
