Monument Valley 2 did not deviate from the core idea of the first game, which is a great thing as the first game was almost perfect. The user must modify the artefacts along the pathway to allow the protagonist to move forward, and the puzzles increase in difficulty as one moves forward. Increased number of options in this worthy successor add greater value to the customisable nature of the game. However, few people have complained that the game is too short to their liking.
