Season 4
Season 4 World Championship witnessed one of the most dominant squads in Championship history. Samsung White came to the tournament all guns blazing and demonstrated one of the finest league of legends performance.
16 team participated in the League with a total prize pool of $ 2,130,000 US Dollar.
Samsung White cruised through the group stage without dropping a game going 6-0. They then swept TSM in quarterfinals 3-1. In the semifinals, they faced their sister team Samsung Blue who was the heavy favourites coming into World Championship.
SSW however easily came out on top winning the series 3-0. In the finals, they faced Chinese superteam Star Horn Royal Club where they had no trouble as the won the championship dropping only one game.
