2K Games adds Isaiah Austin to NBA 2K15 roster

Isaiah Austin’s profile

NBA fans might already know about former Baylor’s Bears center Isaiah Austin and the tragic medical condition that ended his NBA career. Austin was declared for the 2014 NBA Draft but was soon diagnosed with Marfan syndrome, a condition which doctors stated could be fatal if he did not stop playing basketball, as it affects the body's connective tissue. This ended Isaiah’s NBA dream but the athlete has received some amazing support from his fans, the NBA community and recently, 2K Sports.

2K Sports recently revealed on their Instagram page that the latest update for NBA 2K15 will include Isaiah Austin as a playable character. Austin has now been officially added to the games pool of free agents. And while this may not be the same as actually playing in the NBA league, it’s still a great decision by 2K Games to include the young athlete in NBA 2K15.

Since the game launched just a couple of months ago, 2K Games has constantly worked on keeping the game fresh and updated by releasing roster updates. These updates normally consist of new roster moves by different teams in the game so the latest update is going to be a little more special than the usual.
