4 Best Old PC Games that You Still Can Play
Enough with the “best upcoming PC games” or “best games of 2018”. Today we are traveling to the past to find out few of the very old games that you can still play and enjoy. We consider them classic, some of you oldies will call them nostalgia but as a 90’s Kid not all of them would be in my nostalgic playlist. Honestly, some of them are from the time when I did not know what gaming is. This is the part about PC gaming that I love the most, games never get old. Even on your top-notch high-end multicolored LED-flashing rig you can play very very very old games and enjoy them as much as we did back then on our low-end setups.
We often miss a lot of good games because they were released before we even became a gamer and even though a lot of the old games are getting their new makeover it’s not possible to remake every PC classic we ever had. Some of the best RPG, adventure games, strategy games and point and click games are so old we have never even heard of them, playing is a very farfetched imagination. However, I decided to make a list of a few old PC classics that you can still buy or download and play. Maybe you’ve played some of these, maybe you have heard of some of these or maybe you are going to. Only one way to find out, right? So, let’s begin.
Yeah! Half-Life! Maybe we have waited for Half-life 3 for too long and maybe some of us are disappointed knowing that it’s never happening but don’t give up. Half-Life one is still there for you. What made the gaming community go crazy over this game? Half-life’s storytelling and its fictional world were beyond anything else in gaming, in 1998. We are talking about a time when nobody could ever possibly imagine Half-Life happening and then all of a sudden something happened that changed the entire gaming scene and it was named Half-life.
Valve created an amazing experience with all the alien fighting and physics-based puzzles. The landscape itself was so stunning and unearthly at the same time. The narrative that never broke away from first-person makes the game one of the finest games of then and probably even now. So don’t waste time waiting for the imaginary Half-life 3 and play the original.
