#2: Guild Wars 2

Guild Wars 2
Guild Wars 2

Released in 2012, Guild Wars 2 is one of the best long-running MMO games. It is a unique MMO that offers a dynamic event system which replaces normal questing in traditional MMOs. Guild Wars 2 has a real RPG feel about it and has a pretty strong story that is affected by player actions.

In Guild Wars 2, every decision and action by players has some impact on the story and game-play. There are a total of five Races and eight professions (*classes) in Guild Wars 2. The game provides constant updates and new content.

With each passing DLC or additional content, the game gets even better. There are some graphics improvements whenever Guild Wars 2 has an update. There's a lot that goes on in Guild Wars 2 that cannot be explained in short.

We highly recommend players to give this MMO game a try if they haven't done so already.

#1: Final Fantasy 14 Online

Final Fantasy 14 (FFXIV) is an MMO RPG that didn't have a good start. However, it reclaimed its spot among the best MMO games with Realm Reborn. Final Fantasy 14 is a tab targeting style MMO. It offers almost all the elements that you have liked in Final Fantasy games.

FFXIV offers dungeons, unique enemies, decent questline, a set of amazing NPCs and other aspects that you look for in a good MMO. The game offers a good and consistent active player base too.

Special Mention:

World of Warcraft, TERA, Revelations Online.
