#2 Outward

Outward
Outward

Am I biased towards Outward? I am biased towards any game that is worth being biased for and Outward is one of those games. Since the release, this game keeps coming back on my lists and it's for a reason. You need to play the game to understand.

Outward is an open-world RPG survival game where the cold or an infected wound can be as dangerous as the creatures of the night. This game takes you to fantasy land, a world that breathes life. This game is very immersive and the constant auto-save literally forces you to live with your decision. Each decision will make an impact in the game and you must deal with the consequences.

You're no god, you are a mortal human being who needs to save himself from the cold, the night, hazardous environment or deadly creature. Explore the world of Aurai, the beautiful yet deadly land of fantasy. Stay hydrated, don't starve, protect yourself from the weather and most importantly, don't die.

#3 Unheard

Unheard

Unheard provides you the unique non-linear audio driven gameplay experience and is a project where storytelling met puzzle solving.

You play the game as an "acoustic detective" who is hired to go back to the past and solve cases. The new device lets you hear everything that happened in a crime scene. Your job is to track down each of the individuals and solve the cases with the audio provided to you.

The question is can you trust everything you hear? Is there anything that is connected to all of the cases? Find out yourself once you are inside the game. The game currently has 5 cases and a lot more mysteries to solve. Developers have promised to release a free DLC in the next 2 months.

The game literally says "don't expect to get fed a lot of clues". You have act like a fly, quietly sitting on the wall observing everything. Every conversation, every move, every motive will be there in the audios, your job is to listen to the audios as they take you back in the crime scene and figure out everything through that. Can you do it? Do you think you can be an "acoustic detective"? There's only one way to find out.
