A free demo of Destiny is now available for download

If you haven’t purchased Destiny yet or just want to try the game before you go in for a purchase then now’s the best time to do so. Activision has announced that a free demo of Destiny is available for players to try out. This demo is available for both last-generation and current-generation consoles. So now anybody can try out the limited-time demo to get a gist of what the game is like.

If you want to download the demo, head over to your consoles digital store and find the offer. Activision has stated that the demo will contain story missions and co-operative activities. “As part of the promotion, players can create and evolve a Guardian of their own and participate in story missions, as well as co-operative and social activities.”

This seems like a decent amount of content for a trial version of a game but this way players will know precisely what the game has to offer. Your progress will also be carried into the retail release, should you choose to buy the game after. So downloading the demo isn’t a waste of time.

You can also directly upgrade to the full game by selecting an option inside of the demo. This only works for the PS4 and Xbox One though so if you have an older-generation console then you must first exit the demo and find the full game to purchase.

If you want to try out the free demo then its best to do that now, as the trial will only be available for a limited time. Destiny released this past September 9th. Check out our review for the game.
