Alien: Isolation crosses 1million mark

Saga and Creative Assembly has announced that their recent horror survival game Alien: Isolation has surpassed the 1million sales mark in just over three months on the market. Sega's licensing partner for the game, Twentieth Century Fox were also pleased with the game’s achievement and commercial success. This landmark marks a significant achievement for the survival horror title based on Ridley Scott's iconic film ‘Aliens’.

The game’s creative lead Alistair Hope said,

“We set out to make the Alien game we had always wanted to play, and from these figures it seems we also succeeded in making the Alien game another million wanted to play. We hope many more gamers enjoy Alien: Isolation in 2015.”

Fox Consumer Products Vice President Michael Doyle said that,

“Fox is enormously pleased with how both Sega and Creative Assembly have realized their homage to Ridley Scott’s iconic film Alien. The project represents a paradigm shift in what is possible in the arena of licensed games.”

The fans will be pleased to know that there are still two more DLCs to be released for the game as five are expected in total. The third DLC was released recently.
