One of the most anticipated games coming out this year, Anthem seems to be what many were hoping Destiny was supposed to be. Players will explore an open world while piloting their Javelin suits, each one customized to fit individual players needs and playstyles.

When Microsoft presented some footage of the game back at E3 2017, it caught the attention of gamers worldwide. Yesterday, the VIP demo was released, allowing certain people to finally check out what this online third-person shooter had to offer.

The result? Not good, according to DSOGaming, anyway, who reported that the demo was a "cluster****" with serious server issues. Reportedly, players who pre-ordered the game or were subscribers to Origin Access had trouble even getting into the game. Login failures plagued the demo, forcing EA to release a statement on Twitter claiming that they were "upping the server capacity," which means they might've underestimated just how many people were going to log onto the demo yesterday.

Players have also stated that they were having trouble getting through loading screens, being stuck at around 95% before having to restart the game completely, and that's after you begin the first mission. EA is still currently working on fixing the issues for all three platforms.

We're a month away from the official launch of Anthem, which hits store shelves on February 22nd, 2019 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows. With only a month until then, EA and Bioware will have to do some serious work to make sure the game is running at full capacity. After all, this was a private demo for loyal customers and pre-order purchasers.

We'll be sure to keep you updated on any news regarding Bioware's latest title. Until then, stay tuned to Sportskeeda for all of your gaming news.
