Ubisoft has officially announced that they will be releasing a remastered version of the 2012 Assassin's Creed 3. Called Assassin's Creed 3 Remastered. The game will be a replica of the 2012 release and it will include all add-ons such as the Benedict Arnold and Hidden Secrets missions, and the Tyranny of King Washington expansion. Ubisoft will also be releasing the spin-off Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation with the remastered game.
The game will be release on 29 March 2019. Players who have the Assassin's Creed: Odyssey season pass will get both games free of cost.
The remastered version will feature the game in 4K and HDR, which was not supported in the original release. Improvements to the game physics and better textures are also included. The game will be released on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
Assassin's Creed 3 is set in late 18th century America when it was still a colony of Britain. It is the last game to feature the original protagonist Desmond Miles, who needs to go back into the Animus for one last mission.
You play as Connor also known as Ratonhnhaké:ton, a man of Native American descent. Connor fights alongside famous American revolutionaries such as Sam Adams, Benjamin Franklin, and George Washington.

The second game is the spin-off Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation. In this game, you play as an African-French woman in New Orleans also fighting for a revolutionary cause. The game was also released on the PS Vita, then the PS3 and Xbox 360.
Ubisoft will also be releasing a remake of another Assassin's Creed spin-off game, Assassin's Creed: Rogue. The game will be released on March 20.
