Within an year of its introduction, PUBG Mobile has become one of the most talked-about games, being awarded the best Android game of 2018 by Google Play. But they haven't rested on their laurels, and have drastically improved the quality of gameplay in classic matches in the recent past.

With the massive following of the game, getting to higher tiers and improving statistics has become important to most players. Among the factors in getting higher rankings and getting a decent number of kills at the same time require is landing at the right location.

But first, what is ranking system in PUBG?

At the end of each classic game, a player receives rating points based on several factors like survival time, kills and so on. Every player starts with 1500 rating points, and after each game the rating points are added to the total. The rating can be positive or negative based on the performance of the player.

On the basis of points, PUBG has eight different tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Crown, Ace and Conqueror. A player starts from Bronze and moves up the ranks. All the tiers, excluding Ace and Conqueror, further have five sub-ranks.

On what factors do the rating points depend?

PUBG is a survival game. The last man standing wins, irrespective of the number of kills. Therefore, the rating points is dependent on survival time. As a result, most prefer to play it safe while pushing for higher ranks and end up with a low number of kills.

What is K/D?

K/D refers to Kill/Death ratio, which signifies the number of kills per death. It is similar to the batting average of a player in cricket, which represents the number of runs scored in each inning. Staying alive and winning the Chicken Dinner is similar to an innings in which a batsman was not out.

The best map to push rank in PUBG Mobile is Erangel.

Now, let us have a look at some of the landing places that provide the perfect balance to help a player push for higher ranking while maintaining a decent K/D ratio at the same time. This is because these locations provide a good amount of loot, along with the opportunity to get early kills. This also increases the probability of a win.

Prison

This is one of the most underrated locations on the Erangel Map. It is accessible from almost every possible flight path. The Prison area mainly consists of one main building, five warehouses, and two smaller two-storied buildings. The loot spread across the entire area is good enough for an entire squad. If squad members are still not satisfied with the loot, you can move towards the Shelter area to find more.

In addition to the loot, you're highly likely to encounter one or two squads within the prison area. Landing before the enemy and capturing the main building will definitely provide a major advantage to the squad and a good number of kills will be there for the taking early on in the game to improve your K/D ratio which inturn will help in pushing rank in PUBG Mobile.

Ferry Pier

It is a location avoided by most players, and the quality of loot is also pretty low. However, this is one location that can increase the probability of a win.

It is usually hard to find an enemy on Ferry Pier. Even if one does, it won't be more than one squad and will be easy enough to handle. Once the squad has found enough loot, you can move towards the bridge linking the Military Base area with the Ferry Pier area. Based on zone location, the squad can camp at the bridge. The squad can earn multiple kills along with finding loot from crates of enemies that survived hot drop locations and push ranks in PUBG Mobile.

Primorsk/Severny

Landing in these parts of the map requires the flight path to be favorable as the two are located at the edges of the map.

But whenever the flight path allows, there is a huge probability that a squad or two could be found. The cities are spread across large areas. So, if two or even three squads land there at the same time, they can choose separate portions of the city, collect a well-spread loot and then pick a fight. And winning the fight will leave the squad with a fairly decent amount of ammunition while adding to your kills -- exactly what is required for pushing rank and increasing the K/D in PUBG Mobile.

Georgeopol Apartments

Without doubt, the Georgeopol's containers attract a large number of squads irrespective of the flight path. The amount and quality of loot available is excellent. However, the presence of multiple teams usually results in gunfights and an entire squad may get wiped without landing a single blow. This can lead to heavily negative rating points.

The Georgeopol apartments, however, are less targeted by players. The apartments, spread across quite some area, provide a decent amount of loot and. usually, not more than one or two squads land at this location.

Additionally, the squad can push at people fighting around the containers, which can further increase the kill count via the third party. If successful, the squad will have the entire loot of Georgepol to go with a good number of kills and a high probability of winning the game.

Rozhok

Out of all the locations discussed earlier, this is the area where the probability of a fight is the highest. Multiple squads often land in the city. However, the city is spread over a large area and it allows the players to glide away from enemies and collect some loot before engaging in fights.

If a squad is able to survive the fights, each member will definitely end up with quality loot along with a number of kills. It's a great location for players who want to push for ranking and play aggressively at the same time.
