The 4 versus 1 modern fantasy game “Shadow Realms” was a “work in progress” ever since the game was revealed by EA on Gamescon 2014. Developer Bioware Austin have decided to lay down the project and not move forward with the cause of its development. Jeff Hickman GM at Bioware Austin released this news in a official post saying “We’ve made the decision to not move forward with development of Shadow Realms,” Hickman extended his address to explain the reason behind this decision of the enterprise.

“While the team did amazing work on the game concept and we got lots of great feedback from our fans at events and through other game testing, right now there are other projects for the team to work on within the BioWare studios for the coming year and beyond. We’ve got an incredibly talented team here at the Austin studio, and they are excited and already deep on new projects within the BioWare family, ones that will make some great BioWare games even better” Hickman suggested that other projects under Bioware Austin needed the attention of the makers, this includes the Dragon Age: Inquisition, the next game of the Mass Effect series and the expansion of Star Wars:The Old Republic.
