Bungie anounces the release date for Crota's End DLC

Destiny’s Crota’s End Hard release date revealed

The much-awaited release date of Destiny’s DLC Crota’s End is finally revealed. In their weekly updates, the developers Bungie has revealed that the Hard mode will be released on Wednesday, January 21st at 1pm ET. The discussion led on revealing some details about what the mode might challenge and also some surprises if the team finishes up the work before the release date. Bungie said,

"If you've experienced Hard Mode in Vault of Glass, you have some clues for how we can scale up a Raid. Prepare to take better care of your teammates. You'll have fewer options for healing yourself and each other. The enemies, you're about to face, are stronger and more prone to temper tantrums."

And as far as the question of difficulty of the mode goes, Bungie was too hesitant about revealing more information about it and said that they will let the players figure it out. “Hard Mode for Crota’s End is ready. We know you are too.”, said the Bungie Studio. They added that playing the game in this mode has a fun of its own as in this with each victory you will earn rewards and treasures.

For complementing with the new difficulty mode, the developers have also made changes in the Raid gears. The new Raid Gear is said to feature new weapons which will be able to withstand the damages of 331. The weapons include Abyss Defiant Auto Rifle, Fang of Ir Yut Scout Rifle, Oversoul Edict Pulse Rifle, and the Word of Crota Hand Cannon.
