Call Of Duty Black Ops III Free Run Mode Revealed

Treyarch has recently revealed an all-new game mode for Call Of Duty Black Ops III named “Free Run”. In this game mode, players can race through parker like obstacle courses. The main purpose of this game according to Treyarch, is for players to get used to the gameplay mechanics of the game.

“Free Run mode pits players against each other and the clock as they run, jump and even shoot at targets. This mode as a whole is all about managing your thrust meter and the budget the thrust meter gives you,” said the developer from Treyarch in a video uploaded on their youtube channel.

Players will need to time their jumps on the ground as well as walls and any mistake will have them suffer a time penalty. A couple of segments in the video also showcased the usage of guns in this free roam game mode. “We put the weapon challenges in so you can master your movement with respect to the guns,” Treyarch said.

Treyarch also commented on how this mode will escalate in terms of difficulty as “the puzzles get more complex and that it will be common for players to be restarting repeatedly at checkpoints in later courses.”

Treyarch revealed on how they are going to reward the veteran gamers who have played the previous installments in the franchise. Call Of Duty Black Ops III features “Loyalty Programs” for the veterans of the Call Of Duty franchise meaning they will get a special reward if they have reached a certain level in Call Of Duty Black Ops II, Call Of Duty Ghosts, Call Of Duty Advanced Warfare. The loyalty program is only for Playstation 4, Xbox One, PC. The rewards are for level 10, level 30 and prestige 1.

All of the rewards stack. If you prestige in any one of the games mentioned above, you can unlock your loyalty rewards by going to the official Call Of Duty website.
