#1 Types of Freakers

Freakers are the zombies in the world of Days Gone and apparently, they are of 4 types in general.

They are- Swarners, Newt, Screamer and Breaker.

Swarners are basically the most common type of freakers you'll find in the game. They move around in a group of two or three and sometimes in a whole group of hordes. Swarners are the simplest of them all and follow a proper pattern such as sleeping, hibernating, migrating etc.

Newt is infected adolescents which only attack when your health is low or when you invade their space. (Try not to do that.)

Screamers, as the name suggests, will scream at the top of their voice after seeing you and call in the whole horde of Swarners. Now you wouldn't want that, would you?

Breakers are your big muscular Freakers which can you take down very easily so you got to be careful.

Other than these 4 major types, the game also boasts Runners-which are infected wolves, Rager bears and ravens.

#2 Weapons

Weapons are indeed crucial in Days Gone and Deacon can pick them out from enemies but they won't be strong enough and break down easily. To get the best gears you need to go purchase them from survivors camps. Aside from guns, the combat in Days Gone offers the usual melee weapons and stealth options such as taking down enemies with a knife.

Days Gone is out 26th April exclusively on the PS4 and is the only confirmed title out of The Last Of Us Part 2, Death Stranding and Ghost of Tsushima to be out this year.
