Days Gone is the open-world zombie shooter game developed by Sony Bend Studio and is out exclusively on PS4 on 26th April 2019.

Being so close to the Days Gone release, it's obvious to expect news about the title and that is what happened today.

According to GameReactor, Sony Bend revealed to various gaming media companies that the game has 6 hours of cutscenes. This is absolutely great news for fans like me because good storytelling is a must in single player games and seeing the benchmark that Sony's other first-party's like God Of War and Marvel's Spider-Man set, it's hard to expect anything less from their latest offering.

Confirmed earlier last year, Days Gone's main story will take about 30 hours to beat which is a perfect length for an open world game. Keep in mind that only "the golden path" would take that much time, meaning when you add side missions and other activities in it the game will definitely provide a playtime of about 80-100 hours.

Days Gone follows the story of a former biker Deacon St. John after a global pandemic which decimated the globe and turned millions of civilians into "freakers"- so-called zombies in Days Gone.

Also revealed via the Days Gone gameplay series earlier this year was the fact that the game will feature a huge open world environment which players can traverse via foot or by Deacon's bike, which sure is customizable.

Days Gone takes place in a high desert and features locations such as snowy forests, dense forests as well as barren desert lands. Keep in mind though that the world of Days Gone is unforgiving and danger will be lurking in every corner in this dynamic open world.

Days Gone is the only PS4 exclusive game confirmed for this year while the likes of The Last Of Us Part 2, Ghost of Tsushima and Death Stranding still remains without any release date or a release window.
