Releasing their first intellectual property since Syphon Filter back in the 20th century, SIE Bend Studio is making a comeback into the gaming world with a new third-person action-adventure video game.

Releasing in 2018 for the PS4 and the PS4 Pro, the survival horror video game is already making rounds on the social media after the gameplay footage went viral few months back. In the news ever since, the gaming community is eagerly waiting for more light to be thrown upon the game, which on early impressions, checks all the boxes with the people were wanting from a Zombie Survival Game.

To be published by Sony Entertainment, Days Gone faced even competition before the release up against the high norms set by the brand's own The Last of Us, which is termed as the Messiah of Survival games due to its gripping story-line and immersive graphical experience. Under development using the famed Unreal Engine 4, Days Gone would make the most use of the engines capabilities and the PlayStation's performance to stack up exciting new features for users.

Set in a post-apocalyptic open-world environment, Days Gone would boast a dynamic weather system which affects the gameplay severally, even making alterations to the behavior of the AIs. The game would revolve around the life of protagonist Deacon St. John, a former bounty hunter. The in-game protagonist would be voiced by award-winning actor and singer Sam Witwer, best known for his roles Smallville, Battlestar Galactica and the Star Wars.
