News has it that Destiny's next expansion, known as The House of Wolves, will launch in the second quarter of this year.
It has been stated in the Bungie Weekly Update for February 5 that the soft deadline for the second shared-world shooter expansion will come out sometime between April and June. This particular release window lines up with the leaked May 19 date found by a Reddit user.
However, Bungie has not given out any extra information regarding the expansion due to Destiny’s leak last month that gave out a lot of information of the expansion. Based on the leaked image, it can be expected that The House of Wolves will include three new story missions, two additional strikes and a raid titled The Arena.
"We’re keeping all other details under wraps for now [about The House of Wolves]," said Bungie community manager DeeJ in the weekly update. "There is a special team here that's dedicated to creating some new ways for you to play Destiny. They’re also making the game you know a better reflection of what we’ve learned about you since you’ve started playing."
