Hauntings: Deadly Playtime quest in Dragon Age The Veilguard - Walkthrough
The main goal of the Deadly Playtime quest is to defeat Death, a mini-boss at level 40 in Dragon Age The Veilguard. This formidable adversary, a large Candlehop, possesses numerous abilities and is both agile and detrimental. Death has the following characteristics:
- Vulnerable to: Cold
- Resistant to: Fire
You must avoid Death's two projectiles, ice attacks, and ground slams. Maintain a consistent dodging technique to circumvent the red warning circles that appear on the ground and subsequently utilize your abilities for counterattacks.
Parrying Death’s attacks can effectively break the blue shield quickly. As it is vulnerable to Cold attacks, bringing Neve as a companion can be a great choice. Then, target Death using the ability wheel and deal significant damage.
Once the boss is defeated, you can loot a chest containing two Fade-Touched Silks (Legendary Material). Afterward, return to the Necropolis and report the situation to Myrna and Vorgoth. They will thank you for your service and grant you 500 Gold and 250 Mourn Watch Strength.
Since Deadly Playtime marks the concluding quest in the Hauntings series, players selecting Human, Elf, or Dwarf will receive a Unique Medium Helm, while those playing as Qunari will obtain a Unique Medium Vitaar.
