Dying Light PC Patch Resolves Modding Issues
Dying Light

Dying Light ,the most inventive and popular action survival horror game of our times recently received an update that contains a special patch that aims at re-enabling modding features of the game. The patch that debuted earlier this month for PC restricted the mod feature of the game . Howver makers assured that in the patch notes for update 1.2.1 that the patch was designed to prevent players form cheating (by changing the games data files ) but it would in no way hinder the modding features of the game.

The patch notes given for the latest update version 1.4.0 explains that “modded games will not work online with original unchanged versions but will work with other identically modded games. The update also fixes hardware, performance and stability issues. It addresses issues with Be-the-Zombie mode and general gameplay, such as extremely long load times that some users were experiencing.” Developer Techland has taken a positive step of invovling players to contribute their ideas of creating modding tools for the game “share their mod ideas - no matter how crazy.” The developers also announced that this month they will be relasing new hard mode whcih will be provided through a free content update that will arrive sometime in the begining of March or some time sooner.
