Great Rune is codenamed as FromSoftware's upcoming open-world game, published by Namco Bandai, which is supposedly a true successor to the original Dark Souls which released way back in 2011.

Great Rune is a project in collaboration with Hidetaka Miyazaki- the President of FromSoftware and George RR Martin- the critically acclaimed Author of A Song of Ice and Fire, who most recently confirmed in his blog post that he's consulting a game out of Japan.

Great Rune is rumoured to be FromSoftware's big open world game which will also feature horseback riding this time around. The game is expected to be revealed at Microsoft's E3 2019 press conference with a Spring 2020 release window.

Bethesda has confirmed their usual E3 press conference will take place this year as well with the main focus being on Doom Eternal which is supposedly releasing later this year. But other than that no other big reveal has been confirmed. But a game annoucment from Arkane Studios is highly likely.

Arkane's two studios- Lyon released Dishonored 2 back in 2016 and Austin releasd Prey back in 2017 with multiple DLC's following up in the next year. In other words, it's time one of the studios of Arkane reveal what they are working on next.

According to a resetera forum back in late 2017, Arkane seems to be working on another first person AAA immersive sim which will also have multiplayer elements. This information actually comes from a job listing of the game which they posted.

The job listing was for a first person weapons artist that makes guns and guns attachments. This defintely points that Arkane Studios is working on first person shooter game.

Bethesda also notably renowed the trademark for 'The Crossing', Arkane's online shooter game which got cancelled.

With no Starfield or Elder Scrolls 6 coming at this year's E3, Arkane Studios is the only one left to cause a huge impact at Bethesda's E3 2019 conference.
