With EA FC 25 just around the corner, the anticipation for the game is gradually reaching its peak. It is set to launch with new features and technologies that will bring more realism into the play. Along with the new features, the player ratings are also sure to see a refresh.
The most exciting leagues this season are the Premier League and the La Liga. Both leagues showcase the current generation's top football talents, with the Premier League featuring stars like Erling Haaland, Phil Foden, Saka, etc., and La Liga boasts talents such as Kylian Mbappe, Jude Bellingham, and Vinicius Jr, among others.
Real Madrid looks like the most fearsome team in the whole of Europe right now. We witnessed Madrid this fierce last in 2017, when the team comprised of greats like Cristiano Ronaldo, Marcelo, Gareth Bale, Ramos, Benzema, etc. Madrid dominated the UEFA Champions League last season, eliminating Borussia Dortmund in the Final and bypassing reigning champions Manchester City in the quarter-finals.
Every Real Madrid player showcased immense talent and skill throughout the season, warranting their potentially high ratings in FC 25. As a result of the club's performance last season, we are likely to see most of La Liga's highest-rated players in EA FC 25 from Real Madrid.

The top position in the table is held by none other than Kylian Mbappe. He is one of the best youngsters in the world right now. Mbappe was the highest-rated player in EA FC 24 and is likely to continue that in FC 25. EA could bump up his rating to 92 in this edition. If not, will probably stay 91-rated. After his recent move to Real Madrid, Mbappe already scored a goal, in his debut match.
Next in the predicted rankings is Vinicius Junior, a Brazilian left winger from the same team. We will likely see his rating being bumped from 89 to 91. It is also predicted that he will win the 2024 Ballon d'Or. So an upgrade to 91 doesn't seem at all unlikely. Meanwhile, Courtois, Real Madrid's reliable goalkeeper, is not expected to see any change from his previous rating.
Next comes the poster boy of this year's EA FC 25, Jude Bellingham, who is arguably the world's most famous young footballer. He joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2023 and has since been creating wonders at the club. Bellingham could see a huge increase in his overall rating, capping at 90. Most Real Madrid players will see an upgrade with this edition of EA FC.
Alongside Real Madrid players, their El-Classico partners also harbor great talents. Barcelona's forward Lewandowski might return as 89-rated, following last season's 90 OVR rating. This rating might also be shared by his teammate, Marc-Andre Ter Stegen.
Atletico Madrid's Griezmann has always been featured among the top talents in previous editions. We can expect the same from him this time as well, as he's expected to return with an 88 rating, just like last season. Nico Williams could see an upgrade in his overall due to his amazing Euro 2024 performance.
When it comes to defenders, Madrid's Rudiger and Barcelona's Araujo are prime competitors. Both are good defenders and will probably get upgrades in this edition. Gavi and Pedri, the youngster midfield duo, along with De Jong, are some other names that we could see among the top talents from La Liga.
Players who could see a decrease in their rating are Parejo and Modric. Some others might also get reductions, but we will have to see. Among youngsters, Yamal and Arda Guller are the ones to watch. They should see an increase in their rating, but we must wait until the official announcement to know their actual OVR. Fortunately, it won't take long since the EA FC 25 player ratings are due to be released in about a month.
