Epic Games sends out invitations for Fortnite Alpha

Epic Games is sending out invitations for the very first alpha trial for Fortnite which is set to begin this week. "The time has finally arrived! Today we sent out some invites for Fortnite’s Online Test 1," Epic said.

Online Test No.1, which is the first phase of Alpha testing for Fortnite will run from December 2 till December 19. This phase of the Alpha is focused on the core parts of the game which includes including sign-ups, patching, and gameplay.

Fortnite is a co-op survival game in which players are supposed to build forts, weapons, and traps to protect their town from attacking monsters. The game is currently only in development for PC, but developer Epic Games has stated that it is open to other platforms in the future.

More invites will be sent to the members of the Fortnite community this week. Additionally, each initial invite allows players to invite up to two friends to participate in the Alpha.
