Far Cry 4 is definitely the most awaited game of the year 2014 but a disappointment comes the way of the player since it has been revealed that the custom maps of the game doesn’t support features for competitive multiplayer mode of the game. A Twitch stream of the game showcased these flaws where the custom map editor only included options for the game's challenge maps and did not contain the same for the multiplayer mode.
After enriching the spirits of the players with the release of the launch trailer (to view click here) such a news is a big let down for the players who have decided to voice their opinion of anger and dejection on the official Far Cry 4 forums by threatining to cancel their pre-orders for the game.In response to this Ubisoft Montreal's Creative Director Alex Hutchinson said: "I direct the game but I don't set budgets or timelines. We always squeeze in as much as we can, but we're always prioritizing. We're going to keep supporting the game, so hopefully we can get it done post release. No promises, but we will try."
It is essential for Ubisoft to overcome this shortcoming as Far Cry 3 had a thriving, robust map-making community thus nothing less is expected from the Far Cry 4.You can check out the review video for the game by IGN right here.
