Far Cry 4 map of Kyrat revealed

A redditor has managed to leak out what seems to be the full map of Far Cry 4. Whether this is the original map of the game is yet to be confirmed, but it sure looks interesting. Originally posted on imgur, the image shows the entire area for Far Cry 4 which players will get to explore. The map does not seem very large at first compared to its predecessor Far Cry 3, but keep in mind that FC3 had a lot of beaches and flat land while this map will contain more high altitude areas like mountains. But one will have to wait and see when the game releases.

Players will be able to explore the fictional country of Kyrat, which will be based off the Himalayan region and will have 6 different biomes and economic regions to explore. The map will contain high mountains and forests and more exotic locations not present in other Far Cry titles. The map shows some important locations as well which players will have to keep in mind such as “Outposts” and “fortresses” and “Radio Towers” and will also include other important landmarks. But besides this it also seems to display different animal spawning sites. The game looks like it will contain a variety of animals with different herds residing in different areas in the map. From the image there seems to be Elephants, Rhinos, Wolfs, Bears, Wild Boars, Deers, Pythons and it has even included animals native to the Himalayan region such as Yaks (kind of similar to a bison, except with long hair), Snow leopards, Tigers, Dohle’s, and Bharals.

Far Cry 4 will be out on November 18th for the PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. Watch its story trailer over here.
