Far Cry 4’s new patch 1.4.0 is now live. The patch should fix the annoying blank screen issues that have been plaguing the PC version of the game. Since the games release this week, some players have been complaining about a black screen problem that would appear when launching the game and another grey screen that appears at the end of Outpost Master Missions. Bugs like these are not uncommon for new game releases, with many games running into various launch problems.

But it’s good to see that the The Far Cry 4 team has acted swiftly in dealing with these issues, many of which have already been fixed. The Far Cry 4 team has stated: "We expect this to provide a much smoother experience for our players,"

These are not the only issues that players have faced. Some have complained about mouse acceleration, key binding problems and a few more issues. The Far Cry 4 team has stated that they are working on these problems which “should be tackled in future patches”. Many of Far Cry 4’s initial multiplayer and crash issues have already been fixed.
