What's the story?

For fans wondering when EA Sports were going to release the much awaited La Liga TOTS, there is certainly some good news as the team was revealed on the official EA website today.

A number of star names have been included as expected, but the team also has a few surprises which not many could have predicted. A formidable side on paper, La Liga TOTS can give any European power a run for its money.

In case you didn't know...

The Premier League TOTS was recently revealed by EA as well and as good as that side was, a large number of fans have been waiting to see what the La Liga had in store with names such as Ronaldo and Messi expected to be part of the eleven.

The heart of the matter

The team has a host of big name players in the playing eleven starting with Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen in goal. The German is protected by an able back line of players starting with a surprise inclusion in Atletico Madrid defender Lucas Hernandez who has been praised for his versatility in defense. Hernandez is joined by Sergio Ramos of Real Madrid and Gerard Pique of Barcelona in central defense and Jordi Alba of Barca at fullback.

The team consists of Toni Kroos, Daniel Parejo of Valencia and Saul Niguez of Atletico in midfield, with Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Antoine Griezmann wrapping up an impressive lineup.

What's next?

The team appears to be a 4-3-3 formation and has a number of incredibly talented players capable of challenging the best of the best.
