FIFA 18: Mohamed Salah jokingly disagrees with his Player of The Year ratings

Liverpool v AFC Bournemouth - Premier League
Mohamed Salah

What's the story?

Mohamed Salah recently added the PFA Player of the Year award for the 2017/18 season. EA Sports also rewarded Salah by giving him a Player of the year card, which put him alongside Messi in FIFA Ultimate team.

However, it seems Salah is not happy with his POTY card as he was seen jokingly complain about his ratings.

In case you didn't know...

The Egyptian has had a great 2017/18 season so far. After joining from Roma, Salah has scored 44 goals for Liverpool while providing 13 assists.

Salah has also been named three times in the Premier League Player of the Month, three times in the UEFA Champions League Player of the Month, and the African Player of the Year. He also won a spot on the PFA team of the year.

The heart of the matter

Salah has won everything a player can win on a personal level this season, ahead of the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling. The Egyptian has taken the Premier League by storm playing and helping Liverpool to the semi-finals of the Champions League.

However, it seems like not everything can make Salah happy as he was seen questioning his 'physical' rating.

The Player of the Year jokingly refused to accept that EA would give him a rating of 84 in the physical department, even after spending a whole month in the Gym. Thankfully for EA, Salah took it in good humor and was seen smiling (as usual).

What's next?

On a personal level, Salah has achieved almost all he can in one season. He will hope that he can keep the good form going to help Liverpool secure the Champions League.

Author's take

Although Salah has progressed in every aspect of his game, the physical aspect of the game may perhaps be his weakness.

In fact, it is a rare weakness in the Egyptian's game that he cannot hold the ball up and wait for his teammates to arrive.
