YouTuber leaks Cristiano Ronaldo's FIFA 18 card on Twitter, fans question legitimacy

As EA Sports released another set of player ratings last night, a YouTuber that goes by the Twitter handle @iHazCarrot leaked Cristiano Ronaldo's FIFA 18 overall card.

FIFA 18 rolled out the ratings of top 100 players ranked 41-60 in yesterday's big reveal, and Ronaldo naturally didn't feature since he is earmarked to be the game's best player.

However, YouTuber Jamie put out Ronaldo's insane 95-rated FIFA 18 card, asking whether it is legitimate or not.

FIFA fans were quick to question the card's legitimacy, although Ronaldo fans were ecstatic with the one-point upgrade the Real Madrid superstar received from his FIFA 17 rating. Here are some of the reactions to the leaked Ronaldo card:

In case you were wondering what chem style is, it is explained by fifauteam.com as: "Chemistry Styles are consumable cards. As any other consumable, they can be purchased on the market, or obtained from a pack."

That means Ronaldo's attributes on the card doesn't fit his profile in the game. However, fans of the Portuguese great were too happy to lap it up.

But, certain fans didn't hold back in joining the backlash against the card.

Ronaldo's official FIFA 18 ratings will be revealed by EA Sports on Saturday if the current pattern of daily reveals continues. The Real Madrid forward is widely tipped to be the top rated player in the game ahead of his nemesis Lionel Messi. Whether that photo in the tweet comes out to be true will be confirmed in two days, but one thing is for certain, cover star CR7 is definitely going to have an insane card in FIFA 18.
