Wycombe Wanderers striker Adebayo Akinfenwa, widely known for being one of the strongest football players on the planet, has become the first ever player to receive a 100-rated FUT card in FIFA history, ahead of the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

FIFA 19 has 4 players who have reached the 99-mark in FUT - Ronaldo, Luka Modric, Messi and Pele - but this is the first time a player has ever touched 100.

EA Sports sent Akinfenwa the card as a gift after the League 2 striker revealed that he had reached 1 million followers on social media platform Instagram.

The card, which was not added to his profile but instead just sent to Akinfenwa to commemorate the occasion, has every stat rated at 100, a massive increase on his regular 66-rated card.

Akinfenwa's regular card reads 97 strength, 66 finishing and 72 heading, so this is a phenomenal upgrade indeed.

The 36-year-old has held the title of strongest non in-form player on FIFA for several years, but lost his crown to Eintracht Frankfurt's Sébastien Haller, who has a whopping 98 strength rating, following the Winter Upgrades.

While Akinfenwa's 100-rated card will not feature in the game (as confirmed by Goal), he does possess his own personal teal card on FUT that has mind-boggling stats of 96 pace, 98 dribbling, 99 shooting and 99 physicality.

EA generally sends professional players upgraded versions of their own cards - with an overall of 99 - but in Akinfenwa's case, the upgrades are just a bit too hard to get your head around.

Do you think Akinfenwa's 100-rated card should be made available in-game? Who is the next player likely to get a 100-rated card? Let us know in the comments below.
