LaLiga is easily the best league in the world for the sheer amount of talent they have. Real Madrid and Barcelona are the top sides in the world and they attract players like no other club in the world can.

So many of their players are rated very highly in FIFA 19 and rightly so. However, there are a few who have not managed to live up to their ratings.

Here are 3 top players from LaLiga who will get a downgrade:

#3 – Arturo Vidal

Barcelona made a shocking signing in the summer transfer window with the acquisition of Arturo Vidal from Bayern Munich. The Chilean midfielder was set to join Inter Milan in Italy but a last-minute bid by Barcelona saw him make a move to Spain and join the Catalan side.

Things have not gone the way Barcelona or Vidal wanted it to. The midfielder, who is rated at 85 in FIFA 19, has not managed to show the world why Barcelona wanted to sign him.

The Chilean has been a benchwarmer at Camp Nou this season and is unhappy with his role at the club. He has not been on top of his game for a long time now and it was a surprise when Barcelona signed him.

It was even more surprising when EA give him a rating of 85 in the game. With the winter rating refresh set to take place in February, they should give him a downgrade.

Looking at the other players in the same category and the way Vidal has performed when given a chance at Barcelona, the Chilean should be pushed down to 82, at least. There are better players who have been rated lower than Vidal in the game and they should be given a chance to climb up.

#2 – Gareth Bale

With the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid, it was time for Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema to step up and deliver. However, the duo has failed miserably at Bernabeu this season and it has cost Los Blancos big time.

Rated at 88 in FIFA 19, Bale is one of the most over-rated players in the game. The Welshman is also one of the most sought-after players in the Ultimate Team, going for a minimum of 240k coins on PS4.

The former Tottenham star has done very little to justify his rating in the game and should be receiving a massive downgrade in February. However, given that he plays for Real Madrid, EA might only push him down to 86 but nothing lower than that, despite what others have done.

In FIFA 20, there is no way EA can give him anything more than 84.

#1 – Philippe Coutinho

Philippe Coutinho has been Barcelona's most expensive flop. The record signing has turned out to be a benchwarmer at Barcelona and the Catalan side might just be regretting spending a whopping £142 million on signing him last January.

Valverde has given him a lot of chances, however, he has not managed to grab any of those opportunities. The winger has done very little in attack and is clearly the weak link in the attacking trio that has Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi in it.

Ousmane Dembele has managed to throw him out of the starting XI and rightly so. Rated at 88 in the game, Coutinho should be at the receiving end of the biggest downgrade for a Barcelona player.

It won't be a surprise if EA push him to 84 as it truly reflects his on-field performances.
