#2 – Christian Benteke

Crystal Palace v Southampton FC - Premier League
Christian Benteke might not be as highly rated in FIFA 19 as his countryman, Romelu Lukaku, but his ratings are still set for downgrade. The Belgian has hardly featured for Crystal Palace this season and even when he did, he never managed to score.

Rated at 78 in the game, Benteke is set for another fall in ratings. He was rated at 82 in FIFA 16, moved to 81 in FIFA 17 & 18 and has now been pushed to 78 in FIFA 19. But the downfall is set to continue even more.
With Callum Wilson and Raul Jimenez, both rated the same as Benteke, performing so well in the season, the Crystal Palace man has no argument left for his rating. While it might not be a huge downgrade, EA will push him to 77 or even 76, depending on the other players they have to accommodate.

Apart from popular European leagues, he also likes to follow other leagues like the MLS, Saudi Pro League, Eredivisie, and Liga MX.
Sripad believes in only using the right sources for his articles, and is an expert in understanding how to get the right quotes for each news to provide proper background information. His exploits have led him to become a popular figure in European Football and interviewing Premier League legends such as Alan Shearer, Shay Given, Paul Dickov, and John Barnes. His articles have been much revered amongst the football fraternity and have been shared by the likes of John Terry, Gary Lineker, and Declan Rice.
If given a chance to change a football rule, Sripad wants VAR to be fully automated and offside rules to be less stringent. When not working, he likes to watch past Formula 1 races and play FIFA.
