Wingers might not be as important as midfielders or strikers in FIFA 19. Many games opt to play with 4-2-3-1 or 4-1-2-1-2 formations that have no one on the wings.

However, when the opponent is pressing a lot and the game is played a lot in your half, everyone understands the need for wingers. They can help in counter attacks and getting the ball into the box when you have a good striker in there.

Here are three Premier League wingers who deserve an upgrade:

#3 – Marcus Rashford

It feels like Marcus Rashford has been playing for Manchester United for a really long time now. Ever since he made his debut against Arsenal under Louis van Gaal, he has been in the first team scene.

The Englishman, who loves playing as a striker, was forced to play as a left-winger by Jose Mourinho as he did not have anyone else to play in that position. Rashford excelled there as well but was not about to get to the form he had as a striker.

In FIFA 19, EA decided to list him as a left-winger itself instead of a striker. The move did get him an upgrade from 79 to 81 but that still does not justify his on-field performances.

Rashford is easily one of the best wingers in the league and ranking him lower than the likes of Juan Mata and Pedro, who are well past their prime, was a huge mistake. He is back playing as a striker now and EA should consider listing him as a striker itself.

As for his rating, he should be pushed to 83 or 84 as he is certainly as good as the ones in that category – Willian, Martial, and Bernardo Silva.

#2 – Felipe Anderson

Felipe Anderson would have been rated at 85 or more if he was playing for a top side. The Brazilian moved from Lazio to West Ham United in the summer and has done extremely well to settle in the Premier League.

He has been leading the charge for West Ham's attack and has just been amazing to watch. Anderson has shown that he is capable of playing for any of the top sides in the world and it will only be a matter of time before he leaves the Hammers.

As for his rating of 82 right now, EA should consider giving him a good boost. Just like Rashford, he too should be pushed to 84+ in FIFA 19. He does have an 87-rated IF card, along with two other IF card at 84 & 86. That alone shows how good he has been this season.

#1 – Son Heung-min

Son Heung-min has had a terrible start to 2019. While his on-field performances in the first two weeks were decent, the month has ended on a terrible note for him.

Tottenham were knocked out of the League Cup by Chelsea on Thursday before Crystal Palace dumped them out of the FA Cup on Sunday. In between, South Korea were knocked out of the Asia Cup by Bahrain on Friday!

On the pitch, he has shown that he is way better than what EA have portrayed him to be in FIFA 19. Rated at just 84 in the game, he has done everything right to get an upgrade in the winter rating refresh.

While he might not get a massive push, EA should get him up to 86 – the same as his FUTMAS and IF card this season.
