Manchester United are back in top form and what a difference Ole Gunnar Solskjær has made. The manager has rejuvenated the spirit at the club and is slowly making them title contenders once again.

The Red Devils faithful would be thanking the club's board members for getting rid of Jose Mourinho. The move has benefitted them well and has got them in the race for top 4 right now.

However, things changed a bit too late at Old Trafford and it was not enough for EA to give the players the much-needed upgrade. Here are 5 Manchester United players who deserved an upgrade:

#5 – Paul Pogba

Pogba, more than any other player at Manchester United would have been relieved to see the back of Jose Mourinho. The manager was not happy with the Frenchman and there was an open battle going on between the two.

There was enough tension between the two to divide the whole dressing room and there was nothing Pogba could do about it. He was reportedly on the verge of leaving the club too, according to his brother, but the sacking saved his United career.

Now, under Ole Gunnar Solskjær, he has become a monster in the midfield. The World Cup winner has been dominating the midfield and also scoring for fun. He creative side has come out once again and Manchester United fans are getting to see the player they hoped to when he was signed for £89 million.

Rated at 88, people might argue that he is rated perfectly well. However, given the way he has played in the last 2 months, it would be a huge mistake if he was not going to be given an upgrade to 89 at least.

#4 – Diogo Dalot

Diogo Dalot is slowly and steadily making his mark at Old Trafford. The right-back has shown that he can replace Antonio Valencia in the long run and can be the difference for them in a match too.

Rated at just 72 in the game, Dalot should have been given an upgrade. The youngster has gone well to earn a push to 75 or 76 for sure.

#3 – Luke Shaw

Another player who has done extremely well this season is Luke Shaw. Even under Jose Mourinho, he was slowly getting back to his old form and that was enough for United fans to get excited.

Rated at 78 in the game, he had done enough to get an upgrade to 80 at least. He has been better than Lucas Digne, who has got an upgrade to 81 in the FIFA 19 Winter Upgrades.

#2 – Jesse Lingard

If anyone has a question of how good Jesse Lingard is, just ask the Arsenal fans. United fans are obviously going to hype him but not the Gooners, they have seen him outclass their team.

Rated at 82 in the game, EA could have easily given him an upgrade to 83. He has shown that he is better than what they have portrayed him to be in the game.

#1 – Victor Lindelöf

No one has proved their critics wrong like Victor Lindelöf this season. He was the weak link at the back last season but now, he is easily their best defender.

Rated at just 79, EA could have and should have pushed him to 80 or 81. He deserved the upgrade and EA made a huge mistake by not giving him one.
