Addition of VR to any game is a big step on improving its reach to different customers and including a really fun way to play the game. Even the Oculus Rift co-founder Nate Mitchell gave his views on the idea of FIFA and VR saying, “You can imagine sitting in the stands and confetti is raining down… and the four of us are sitting right next to each other and we’re controlling the players on the field — that would be an awesome VR experience.”

VR has already been coming to other games and it shows in the volume sales of the VR headsets. FIFA would be a perfect platform to launch VR. The idea of standing close to football star players is something really exciting.

Putting together this idea will be a difficult task for EA, but if not this year FIFA will get VR in the coming few years.
