FIFA's technological makeover continues with the revolutionary crossing control function which allows players to provide deadly balls to strikers depending on the situation one finds himself in whereas earlier, the only available options were a low cross, an early cross and an ordinary lofted ball into the box.

The new FIFA feature allows users to pick out strikers in the box with a variety of crosses like the searching cross aimed at the forehead of a player, a deceiving whipped cross for a striker to run on to while also allowing the possibility of delivering a lobbed ball into the box for an inviting volley. The crosses can be customised as per the ability of the striker on the receiving end.
