There is no denying that Fortnite is super popular and is one of the most-played titles out there. The game has now stepped up even more by holding a mega concert in collaboration with Marshmello. Christopher Comstock or popularly known as Marshmello is super popular EDM producer and DJ.

The concert lasted for 10 minutes and it is estimated that millions of players participated around the globe. Up to 60 players were capable of participating in one match while thousands of mini matches were running simultaneously. If players were killed by other players, the game mode allowed to respawn immediately. Epic also disabled the use of weapons for the entire concert so that everyone could enjoy hassle-free.

The concert was one of a kind and a total sellout. It was held in Pleasent Park as it was already teased before. The atmosphere was crazy with the main stage coming to life. One of the best parts of the concert was when gravity was turned off and everyone started to float mid-air! Players enjoyed the concert thoroughly and everyone made sure to spam their in-game emotes.

Marshmello tweeted after his successful concert as the EDM artist became one of the very few to hold a virtual concert, "We made history today! The first ever live virtual concert inside of Fortnite with millions of people in attendance. So insane, thank you Epic Games and everyone who made this possible!”

He further added, “What makes me happiest about today is that so many people got to experience their first concert ever. All the videos I keep seeing of people laughing and smiling throughout the set are amazing. Man I’m still so pumped.”

It was a stellar show and a peek into the future. This success could very much compel other big names to hold a virtual concert.
