Though still the most popular Battle Royale in the world, many players have begun to get burnt out and bored with existing game mechanics. Epic Games periodically releases new balance changes on items, reskinning the map between Seasons and having different Limited Time Mode events.

Pro players such as Tyler "Ninja" Blevins have expressed many concerns and frustrations with the game, especially when Epic Games releases broken balance patches. Ninja, when discussing the new Season on stream said:

"So, I kind of almost want Epic to really some new stuff – maybe, like a new mechanic that really is like going to mix things up. I would not be angry if they changed a lot of the game, that’s all."

Fortnite also added mechanics such as respawning which was similarly modeled after the Apex Legends style. There will need to be new kinds of mechanics that make players feel like they're going to learn the game again. It gives a sense of excitement and novelty to the game, especially players who have been burned out by the repetition in Fortnite Battle Royale.

We have no idea what to expect from Season 11. 6 million people were watching the live streams of different people during the Black Hole event. Fortnite has not lost it's fan base yet so hopefully, this is the start of something fresh which adds more spice to the most popular Battle Royale game.
