Fortnite Week 8 Summer Skirmish: Things You Should Know!

The Fortnite's summer skirmish event is an eight-week online event series, hosted by Epic Games, where $8,000,000 will be distributed as the reward to the winners of each week's set of games.

This week marks as the eighth and final week of Epic Games' Fortnite Summer Skirmish competition series and will be taking place at the PAX West event in Seattle, Washington, United States of America.

The interesting thing in the Week 8 of the Summer Skirmish is that the event will be split into three Stages, and, unlike previous weeks, the games will be open to all those who attend the PAX arena albeit only those who manage to meet the eligibility requirements and also manage to register on time.

The final Summer Skirmish competition will be a 3-Stage Solo event held Friday to Monday. At each Stage, the players will earn points based on the set of rules that is the key to the point scoring system.

Victory Royale: +3 Points

2nd-3rd Place: +2 Points

4th-10th Place: +1 Point

7+ Eliminations: +3 Points

5-6 Elimination: +2 Points

3-4 Eliminations: +1 Point

Also, an added bonus of 25,000 dollars is to be rewarded to those who manage to bag a victory royale in stage 3 of the summer skirmish week eight event.

After going with team-based events for the past three weeks, Epic Games is closing out the Summer Skirmish with a solo format and this is definitely going to spice up things a lot.
